Top tips for healthy eating with Alli

Do not skip meals!

A lot of people dieting will believe that missing meals is the answer to quick and easy weight loss. But healthy eating is not about starving yourself and missing a meal will only lead you to picking at unhealthy options to stave off the hunger. It will also leave you even hungrier later so you will end up eating more than you should instead of picking a meal that fits your fat and calorie targets. You should always eat regularly with a decent 3 meals per day and one snack to avoid hunger and control cravings.

Reduce your fat intake don’t cut it out:

One gram of fat has more than double the calories than the same weight of protein or carbohydrates. That’s why eating less fat is an obvious option for dieting. However, it shouldn’t be cut out of your diet completely. You need to include a lowered supply of fat while taking Alli Slimming Capsules to ensure they work properly to help you lose weight. You should never take your Alli Capsule if your meal contains no fat, which is why it definitely should never be taken out of your diet altogether.

Know your portion sizes:

Portion size is an incredibly important part of dieting and it could be the difference between successfully losing weight or not. It takes around 20 minutes for your brain to recognise that your stomach is full, which is why it’s important to pay attention to how much you’re eating as you may not be needing those big platefuls. Smaller portions and eating slowly will give your brain the chance to recognise that your stomach is full.

Shopping lists:

Make a shopping list and stick to it. This may be more difficult than it sounds when you’re actually walking around the supermarket, but it will stop you buying the wrong foods. Also, try to eat before you go shopping as this will reduce your temptation for unhealthy snacks and will help you stick to your list and your list only! This will also help you to plan your meals in advance to help you stick to them.

A varied diet:

The Alli Programme encourages a well-balanced diet including foods from all of the food groups. Alli suggest paying a lot of attention on starchy foods like potatoes, grains and cereals as well as fruit and vegetables. The food groups that should be eaten in smaller portions include protein-rich foods like meat, poultry and fish, milk and dairy foods like cheese and yoghurt and fatty and sugary foods like cakes, desserts and chocolates.
