Food to Avoid While Taking Cialis

Why Avoid Eating While Taking Cialis?

Unlike with other ED treatments, food and Cialis 'can' go hand in hand. Although it is stated in the patient information leaflet that you can take Cialis with or without food, some users have seen better results if they minimise their food intake, especially of fatty foods prior to taking the medicine. It is also suggested that alcohol is ok with Cialis but don't overdo it since drinking alcohol may temporarily lower your blood pressure which may increase the risk of dizziness when standing up.

Studies have also suggested that when considering food and Cialis, it is best to avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this Cialis unless your doctor or pharmacist says you may do so safely. Grapefruit may increase the chance of side effects with this medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details concerning this issue.

Other than grapefruit, eating healthier can always help your body's health and so although a healthier diet is not indicated for Cialis to work, it may be worth trying if you do have a poor diet.
