Erectile Dysfunction

Cialis Dosage

What is Cialis?

Cialis is a treatment specifically developed for men suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is when a man cannot achieve, or maintain a hard, erect penis suitable for the duration of sexual intercourse.

How much Cialis should you take?

Cialis dosage is dependent on the level of help you require. Cialis 10mg and 20mg are specifically for a man's 'required use' whereas 2.5mg and 5mg are for 'daily use'.

For required use, the recommended starting Cialis dosage is one 10 mg tablet before sexual activity. If the dose is too weak your GP may increase the dose to 20 mg. This would only happen at the discretion of your doctor. The recommended starting dose of Cialis 'daily use' for the treatment of ED is 2.5 mg.

However, as effective as Cialis is now known to be, it is only effective when taken in the right dose. Your Cialis dosage will be set by the doctor. Always take as directed. When it comes to the Cialis dosage a dose above the 20mg a day does not increase its effectiveness. In fact, a dose above 20mg may result in Cialis dose indications which include an increase in undesirable effects and their severity.

In order to bypass Cialis dose indications such as headache and indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, facial flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, pounding heartbeat sensation, abdominal pain and reflux then only take as prescribed. This will help ensure a much more fulfilling sexual experience for both you and your partner.
