I am now an OAP, age, sixty-seven, and I have a table full of high priced foundation bottles, tubes, jars,and sticks. I have very fair skin which is very sensitive. Recently, I have noted several spider veins near my eye. In addition, I have always had a butterfly red design over my nose and cheeks. This can be associated with Lupus, but, thankfully, I do not have this disease. Nevertheless, the red rash is there, and it looks worse after washing my face with warm water. It is more like Rosecea.I was lucky during my teens and twenties as I did not have acne. I almost had a tragedy during my university years. I contracted a textbook case, of Impetigo during my hospital year that left my whole face scarred. I ended up seeing a specialist, who made his own salves and ointments and creams. Thankfully, many of the scars were treated and faded, and healed. However, it took a long long time to heal. After all this time, I am addicted to making up my face everyday. I love cosmetics. Finally, I saw Dermablend products on your site, and I said to myself, whats wrong with trying yet another product? I received my first order a few days ago, and what a wonderful difference in the appearance of my skin. I just put in another order, as Im afraid of being without this foundation and stick make-up. I have one for my dressing table, and am awaiting a set for carrying in my purse so I am not without my Dermablend products! To end this saga, I have not been a smoker, nor have I baked myself in the sun at the beach. I believe these actions are not good for anything except premature ageing! I am hoping that the Dermablend oil will help moisturise my skin so that I hopefully can graduate into my seventies without developing a face like a road map!! More reviews to follow in time. Oh, and NEVER go to bed without taking off your make-up and cleansing your face!
I used this to cover up some dark patches left by eczema, and found it worked really well. The only problem was that the colour did not match perfectly!
