IMODIUM® Classic 2mg capsules relieve diarrhoea quickly and effectively. Imodium works by slowing down your bowel and returning it to its normal rhythm. This helps to restore the absorption of fluids into your body.
Everyone gets diarrhoea from time to time. Though there are many different types of diarrhoea, these are some of the most common ones:
The good news is that you can treat diarrhoea with IMODIUM®. Imodium can help stop diarrhoea, so you can start to feel better and get on with your day. What does Imodium do?
IMODIUM contains the active ingredient Loperamide. This medication is used to treat sudden diarrhoea (including traveller's diarrhoea). It works by slowing down the movement of the gut. This decreases the number of bowel movements and makes the stool less watery.
