Flomax Relief MR is an over-the-counter alpha-blocker treatment for the urinary symptoms of BPH. The drug helps to relax the muscles surrounding the urethra, relieving pressure and allowing urine to flow more freely. It's the one-capsule-a-day to improve the quality of life!
Flomax Relief MR effectively relieves the frequent night-time urination, the urge to urinate every few hours, weak flow, and the feeling of unfinished urinating, which may be the effect of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
Flomax Relief is fast-acting and will produce an effect after the first dose, usually relieving symptoms within 7-14 days. It works best if taken after the same meal each day because that slows its absorption into the intestine, keeping the plasma levels as constant as possible.
Flomax Relief MR Capsules contains the active ingredient tamsulosin, which belongs to a group of medicines called alpha blockers' (or alpha1A-adrenoceptor antagonists). It is used to effectively treat the symptoms associated with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) of a BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia).
How it helps?
These capsules can be taken to treat one of the following symptoms:
Poor stream - The flow of urine is weaker, and it takes longer to empty your bladder.
Hesitancy - You may have to wait at the toilet for a while before urine starts to flow.
Dribbling - Towards the end of passing urine, the flow becomes a slow dribble.
Poor emptying - You may have a feeling of not quite emptying your bladder.
