Compeed Total Care Invisible Cold Sore Patch is a new invisible patch method to treat cold sores discreetly, clinically proven to address the cold sore cycle, from tingling to healing. It’s an ultra-thin, transparent patch that protects and prevents touching of the area, thereby reducing the possibility of contamination.
The speed of healing of the Compeed Invisible Cold Sore Patch is comparable to a cream containing acyclovir 5% cream.
Hydrocolloid-075 promotes the perfect healing environment, preventing the scab formation for noticeably faster healing. It instantly soothes itching and burning, and once applied, the patch covers and seals the cold sore, and provides healing benefits at each stage of the cold sore outbreak.

Brilliant product which almost completely stops the itching and reduces the healing time significantly. Also avoids having to touch the sore in the horrible weepy stage as everything is hygienically contained by the patch. I usually get cold sores on my nose not my lips which is more awkward but the patches still work very well. My only suggestion - it would be useful if the pack contained different sizes as a larger patch would make it easier to cope with clusters of cold sores.
I had a lot of cold sores in my past and since I have tryed this product, my cold sores are out in no time. I usually needed up to three weeks for the larger ones, but while using this product, your lips are as before in less than one week. If you combine with rest, proper diet and lots of positive though, the cold sore is away in three days. Thank you Compeed, you do a great job!
These are the only effective thing I have found for cold sores. As soon as the tingle starts, put one on. They can last up to 24hrs as long as you dont get them too wet. Mine are gone within a week of daily use. And if you find them too large, which I do, just carefully cut along the join before you peel it off, and use tweezers to this and attach to the affected area. Works so much better and you get double from the packet.
Do the job, although quite large.
The coldsore will heal within around 7 days instead of 2 weeks, because the patch seals it off and you dont really get the blistering. 1 patch a day, so you might get 2 outbreaks fixed using 1 pack. Its a bit more tricky if the coldsore is on the pink soft part of the lip because this changes shape depending on how hydrated you are, so drink plenty of water, and this means it starts flapping when youre eating. If the coldsore is just underneath the bottom lip, 1 patch will stay on for days stuck fast.Either way youre halving the time you have a coldsore by using these patches.
I get a cold sore a couple of times a year and they are always sore stingy and horrible. Ive tried Zovorax. Its ok but not ideal. These patches are however another storey entirely. If you catch the cold sore early enough, ie first tingle. I for one never even get to the blister stage or bleeding or crusting. They cure the itch and pain.Top tip is to make sure the lip is dry before application then hold it for a minute for it to set. Then leave it. I do mine over night and by morning it falls off taking with it the yuckiness. 3-4 nights and its gone and Ive healed enough to hardly notice the area affected.
