Canesten Soft Gel Pessary Combi gives you a twin pack of one soft gel pessary and one 10g cream which provide symptomatic thrush treatment. Both contain the active ingredient Clotrimazole for treatment right at the site of infection.
Canesten Soft Gel Pessary Combi gives you a twin-kit of products that help treat thrush internally and externally. Both products contain the active ingredient Clotrimazole.

1 Canesten Cream Clotrimazole 2% (10g)
1 Canesten Pessary (500mg)
Canesten Thrush Cream Clotrimazole 2% provides external treatment for thrush and fungal infections. It contains 2% of the active ingredient Clotrimazole which promotes a healthy pH balance and reduces thrush symptoms of itching and burning.
Canesten Soft Gel Pessary gives you effective treatment for thrush yeast infections. It works right at the site of infection and provides treatment in a single dose.
Canesten pessaries are teardrop-shaped soft capsules that can be inserted at night. It contains the active ingredient Clotrimazole which promotes pH balance and healthy bacteria, and treats any signs of fungal infection and itching.
It is not recommended for use for children under 16.
How to use Canesten Soft Gel Pessary Combi: Using the applicator insert the soft gel pessary as high as possible into the vagina.The cream should be thinly applied to the vulva and surrounding area, two or three times daily and rubbed in gently.
Medical advice should be sought if this is the first time the patient has experienced symptoms of candidal vaginitis.Before using Canesten Soft Gel Pessaries, medical advice must be sought if any of the following are applicable:- more than two infections of candidal vaginitis in the last 6 months- previous history of sexually transmitted disease or exposure to partner with sexually transmitted disease- pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.- aged under 16 or over 60 years.- known hypersensitivity to imidazoles or other vaginal antifungal products.- irregular vaginal bleeding.- abnormal vaginal bleeding or a blood-stained discharge.- vulval or vaginal ulcers, blisters or sores.- lower abdominal pain or dysuria.- any adverse events such as redness, irritation or swelling associated with the treatment.- fever or chills.- nausea or vomiting.- diarrhoea.- foul smelling vaginal discharge.
