Beechams Max Throat Relief Lozenge Blackberry provides instant, maximum treatment for a sore throat. It can be used to relieve all types of sore throats, caused by cold or inflammation.
These lozenges contain hexylresorcinol which acts as an anaesthetic to numb pain and acts as a mild antibacterial to kill germs.
Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every three hours or as required. Do not take more than 8 lozenges in 24 hours.
Children aged 7 to under 12 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every three hours or as required. Do not give more than 4 lozenges in 24 hours.
Do not give to children under 7 years of age. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Do not take this medicine if:
You are allergic to any of the listed ingredients
You have inherited sugar absorption problems. Contains 2.4g total sucrose and glucose per lozenge.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding you should ask your doctor before using this product.

Each lozenge contains: Hexylresorcinol 2.5mg and Benzalkonium Chloride 1.2mg as the active ingredients.
The lozenge also contains Sucrose, Liquid Glucose, Menthol, Blackberry flavour, Propylene Glycol, Caramel (E150), Beta-Carotene (E160a).
