Pain in the Balls of Your Feet
Causes

Periods of time spent wearing high heels. The high heels change the position of the bones and joints, muscles and ligaments in the foot as the foot is designed to be flat. As such the foot has to compensate in order to continue to provide stability, balance and support. The high heel reduces the pressure on the middle of the foot but increases pressure in the forefoot. The burning pain is caused by the tissue in forefoot becoming inflamed from the abnormal stress it is put under.

Symptoms

Burning pain in the balls of your feet, sensitivity in the foot that ease when weight is taken off the foot or the need to shift weight from one foot to the other.

Treatment
Taking the high heels off is the simplest and quickest way to relieve this pain however this is not always convenient or sensible if you are dancing the night away or out shopping.

Other options include using Party Feet Gel Cushions which provide that much needed extra cushioning

You can also use Freshstep Crackling Ice which will give you that instant cooling sensation on your feet.
Prevention
The most obvious preventative option is to not wear high heels however Scholl Party Feet wants you to be able to wear the shoes you love whatever>
Precautions
