Do not take Optifibre if you: Are allergic to guar gum or any of the ingredients listed above. Do not use as the sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
Please see your doctor before you take Optifibre if you: Experience persistent digestive issues, are immunocompromised, or are switching from other fibre supplements or laxatives. If bloating or flatulence occurs, reduce the dosage and increase gradually.
Taking the medicine with food and drink: Mix with non-carbonated liquids or soft foods. Do not use with fizzy drinks or sparkling water as this may affect solubility.
Pregnancy and breast feeding: Optifibre is generally well tolerated, but consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines: Optifibre does not affect alertness or coordination. You may drive or operate machinery as normal.
If you take more Optifibre than you should: Excessive intake may cause bloating or flatulence. Do not exceed 35g of fibre per day. If symptoms persist, contact your doctor. Always follow the recommended dosage.
Active ingredient Each 5g scoop contains 5g of Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum (PHGG), a soluble dietary fibre derived from guar beans.
Other ingredients None. Optifibre is 100% plant-based with no added sugars, preservatives, flavourings, or colourings. It is gluten-free, lactose-free, and suitable for mixing into hot or cold foods and drinks. May contain traces of milk (tin version only).
