It pays to know your coverage, though. For example, all OneTouch® Blood Glucose Meters and test strips are covered by Medicare Part B. Plus, OneTouch® Ultra® Test Strips—for use with the OneTouch® Ultra®2, OneTouch® UltraSmart®, OneTouch® UltraMini™ and OneTouch® Ultra® Meters—are covered at the lowest co-pay by more health plans than any other test strip!

In addition to private insurance companies, federal and state governments have implemented legislation allowing reimbursement for certain diabetes education programs. Medicare Part B* and Medicaid programs cover the cost of certain diabetes education>
