Zinc is a remarkably versatile mineral that plays several crucial roles in the body. It helps maintain healthy bones, hair, skin, and nails. It also aids in metabolizing fatty acids and carbohydrates, building proteins, supporting immunity and cognitive function, and enabling cell division and DNA synthesis.
Additionally, zinc contributes to normal fertility in males by helping maintain healthy testosterone levels. Consuming zinc-rich foods like meats, seafood, legumes, seeds, nuts, eggs, dairy, whole grains, and dark chocolate can help sustain adequate levels of this multi-functional mineral. Some people prefer taking a daily supplement as well.
Our convenient daily supplement provides 3.75mg of zinc (from zinc gluconate) plus 60mg of vitamin C in each lozenge. We use a stomach-friendly, low-acid form of vitamin C called calcium ascorbate. The lozenges also contain 25mg of rosehip powder, a natural source of vitamin C. These refreshing, minty lozenges should be dissolved slowly and can be taken up to 4 times per day. Our zinc lozenges are naturally sweetened with stevia and completely vegan-friendly.
