Natrilix SR is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may be prescribed alone or in conjunction with other anti-hypertensive medicines.

Natrilix SR does not affect alertness but different reactions such as dizziness or weakness in relation to the decrease in blood pressure may occur in certain patients. If affected, your ability to drive or to operate machinery may be impaired.
Athletes should be aware that Natrilix SR contains an active ingredient which may give a positive reaction in drug tests.
In order to avoid possible interactions between several drugs, you should always inform your doctor or your pharmacist of any other medicines that you are taking - even those bought without a doctor\'s prescription. If you go into hospital you should inform the medical staff that you are taking Natrilix SR.
Natrilix SR should not be taken with lithium. The effect of Natrilix SR may be altered or undesirable effects may occur if you are also taking any of the following: halofantrine, mizolastine, pentamidine, bepridil, diphemanil, intravenous erythromicin, sparfloxacin, moxifloxacin, intravenous vincamine, intravenous amphotericin B, some anti-psychotics such as phenothiazines, benzamides or butyrophenones, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, high dose salicylic acid, steroids, stimulant laxatives, baclofen, digoxin, metformin, tricyclic antidepressants, calcium, cyclosporin, tacrolimus and certain medicines used for heart rhythm problems, high blood pressure or to treat mental disorders such as depression, schizophrenia or anxiety.

Natrilix SR may occasionally alter the composition of your blood, particularly if you are elderly or poorly nourished. Your doctor may therefore do some blood tests from time to time.
If you suffer from any other undesirable effects or notice any change in your health while taking this medicine, you should report it to your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine should not be taken after the expiry date which is clearly marked on the outside of the box.
These tablets should be kept out of reach of children.
If your doctor decides to stop your treatment, return any tablets left over to the pharmacist. Only keep them if your doctor tells you to.
