It is also designed for abnormal scars such as hypertrophic scars and keloids. Kelo-cote gel self-dries to a waterproof and gas permeable membrane that acts like an extra layer of skin. From this, it helps to soften, flatten and smooth scars while maintaining moisture balance and elasticity of the scar and surrounding skin. The gel is also proven to reduce any discoloration and itching that is associated with scars.
What does it do?
Kelo-cote should be used to help, treat, reduce, prevent and soften the following types of scars:
How to use Kelo-cote Advanced Formula Scar Gel:
When using Kelo-cote, the recommended minimum treatment time is 60–90 days. Larger and older scars may take longer and continued use is recommended if improvement is still seen after the initial 90 days.
