Do not take Gaviscon Peppermint Liquid Relief if you: Are allergic to any of the ingredients, as rare allergic reactions may include difficulty breathing, dizziness, or skin rashes.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you: Are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking other medications, have been advised to follow a low-sodium diet, or need treatment for longer than 7 days.
Sodium content warning: Each 20ml dose contains 285.2mg of sodium. The maximum daily dose contains 1140.8mg, which is 57% of the recommended daily intake for adults. Consult your doctor if you require long-term use.
Other ingredients warning: Contains methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, which may cause delayed allergic reactions.
Taking with other medicines: Do not take Gaviscon within 2 hours of other oral medications, as it may interfere with their absorption. This includes antibiotics, antifungals, iron supplements, thyroid hormones, and medications for heart, mental health, or autoimmune conditions.
Possible side effects: Most people do not experience side effects. However, rare reactions may include skin rash, swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, or dizziness. Other side effects may include constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, or bloating. These usually resolve when treatment is stopped or the dose is reduced.

Storage: Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
