Key Benefits
Do not take Gaviscon Double Action Liquid if you: Are allergic to any of the ingredients listed above, have severe kidney problems, or suffer from hypophosphatemia (low phosphate levels in the blood).
Please see your doctor before you take Gaviscon if you: Have heart or kidney disease, are on a low-sodium diet, or have reduced stomach acid levels. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist beyond 7 days, as this may indicate a more serious condition.
Taking the medicine with food and drink: Do not take within two hours of other oral medications, as Gaviscon may interfere with their absorption.
Pregnancy and breast feeding: Gaviscon is generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but always consult your doctor before use. Limit treatment duration as much as possible.
Driving and using machines: Gaviscon does not affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
If you take more Gaviscon than you should: Overdose may cause bloating or discomfort. If you or someone else has taken too much, contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately. Take the product packaging with you.
Active ingredient Each 10ml dose contains Sodium Alginate 500mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 213mg, and Calcium Carbonate 325mg.
Other ingredients Carbomer, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), saccharin sodium, peppermint flavour, and purified water. Sugar-free and gluten-free.
