Almus Dual Action Chesty Cough Oral Solution 14mg/5ml 200ml is a medicinal cough syrup formulated to help relieve the symptoms of chesty coughs associated with upper chest infections. It contains the active ingredients diphenhydramine hydrochloride and ammonium chloride, which work together to provide soothing, fast-acting relief while helping to loosen mucus and ease cough symptoms. Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, and for children aged 6 to 12 years on the advice of a doctor, this pleasant cherry-flavoured oral solution offers an effective and easy-to-take option for managing chesty coughs. Supplied in a 200ml bottle, it is ideal for keeping on hand during cough and cold season..
Do not use if you are allergic to diphenhydramine or any of the other ingredients in this product. Do not use if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or have liver or kidney problems. Do not take in conjunction with certain depression medicines such as tranylcypromine, phenelzine or isocarboxazid or within 14 days of stopping taking these medicines. Seek medical advice if you have a chronic or persistent cough, have asthma, are suffering from an acute asthma attack, or where the cough is accompanied by excessive secretions.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5 ml spoonfuls (5 ml to 10 ml) every two or three hours.
Children from 6 to 12 years: Take one 5 ml spoonful every three or four hours. Do not use for more than 5 days without the advice of a doctor.
Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 14 mg per 5 ml, ammonium chloride 130 mg per 5 ml.
Sodium citrate E331, levomenthol, saccharin sodium E954, glucose, sucrose, sorbitol E420, citric acid E330, ethanol, methylhydroxybenzoate E218, cherry flavour, caramel E150c, amaranth E123 and purified water.
