Almus Chesty Cough Syrup 200ml is a medicinal syrup specially formulated to provide effective relief from chesty coughs. Suitable for adults, the elderly, and children aged 12 years and over, it contains ipecacuanha liquid extract and glycerin, which work together to help loosen mucus and soothe the airways, making coughs more productive and comfortable. Designed to be taken three to four times daily, with no more than four doses in a 24-hour period, this easy-to-take syrup offers reliable relief from troublesome chesty cough symptoms. Supplied in a convenient 200ml bottle, it is a practical addition to the medicine cabinet during cough and cold season.
Do not use if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients, have shock, risk of seizure, blood circulation problems, kidney, liver, or heart problems. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by a doctor. Potential interaction with antiarrhythmic drugs; always discuss with your pharmacist or doctor if you are using any other medications. Excess consumption can be harmful; in case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
Take 5 to 10 ml of the syrup, 3 to 4 times daily. Do not exceed 4 doses within any 24-hour period.
The active ingredients of Almus Chesty Cough Syrup are Ipecacuanha Liquid Extract and Glycerin. This medicinal product also contains ethanol, E123, E214, E216 and E218, and 3.2 g of sucrose per 10 ml dose.
