Almus Allergy Relief Acrivastine is an antihistamine medication designed to provide relief from allergy symptoms. This pack contains 12 capsules, each containing 8mg of acrivastine, which helps to alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. The convenient capsule format makes it easy to take, ensuring that you can manage your allergy symptoms effectively.
Key Benefits
Do not take Almus Allergy Relief Acrivastine if you:
Are allergic to acrivastine, triprolidine, or any of the ingredients listed in the leaflet,
Have severe kidney disease,
Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression,
Are under 12 years of age or over 65 years old, unless advised by a doctor.
Please see your doctor before you take this medicine if you:
Have kidney problems,
Have high blood pressure or heart disease,
Are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding,
Are due to have an allergy test, as acrivastine may affect the results,
Are taking sedatives, tranquillizers, ketoconazole, erythromycin, or grapefruit juice.
Taking the medicine with food and drink: You can take acrivastine with or without food. Avoid grapefruit juice as it may increase side effects.
Pregnancy and breast feeding: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
Driving and using machines: This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
If you take more than you should: If you or someone else takes more than the recommended dose, contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately. Take the medicine pack with you.
Active ingredient: Each capsule contains Acrivastine 8 mg.
Other ingredients: Lactose, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), and other capsule shell components. Please refer to the leaflet for the full list of excipients.
