Allerief 4mg Tablets contain an antihistamine called Chlorphenamine which works to relieve the symptoms of allergies. Symptoms Allerief works to relieve you of include:
Dose: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: One tablet every 4-6 hours (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Elderly: Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine as you may need to take a lower daily dose.
Children 6-12 years: Give half a tablet every 4-6 hours. Do not give more than 3 tablets (6 half tablets) in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age. For further information see enclosed Patient Information Leaflet. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
This medicine may make you feel sleepy. If this happens do not drive or use tools or machines. Do not drink alcohol.
