What are Accu-Chek Aviva Glucose Test Strips?

Accu-Chek Aviva Glucose Test Strips quickly attract and absorb a tiny blood drop. The wide-mouth dosing area ensures you can fill the strip on the first try. The larger, wider test strip is easy for everyone to use, featuring a protective coating that allows handling from anywhere on the strip without affecting the blood glucose test result.

Warnings / Side effects

� Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the test strip container.
� Do not apply blood or control solution to the test strip before inserting it into the meter.
� Close the test strip container tightly immediately after removing a test strip to protect the test strips from humidity.
� Store the unused test strips in their original test strip container with the cap closed.
� Check the use by date on the test strip container. Do not use the test strips after that date.
� Store the test strip container and meter in a cool, dry place such as a bedroom.
� Refer to the test strip package insert for test strip storage and system operating conditions.

Usage / Instructions

Wash your hands in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and dry completely.
Prepare the finger pricker.
Check the use by date on the test strip container. Do not use test strips past the use by date.
Insert the test strip into the meter in the direction of the arrows. The meter turns on.
Obtain a blood drop using the finger pricker.
Touch the blood drop to the front edge of the yellow window of the test strip.
Remove your finger from the test strip when f appears. Do not put blood on top of the test strip.
Remove and discard the used test strip.

I live in Cyprus where the Accu-check Aviva strips cost £75.00 for 50. I can and do however use On Call EZ which are the only strips on prescription in Cyprus.I like to use my Accu-check meter because it keeps a detailed record of my progress and provides me with clinical reports which I can take to my clinic. I can still use my Prescription On Call strips but enter the data from them manualy. Best of both worlds.

I would not buy my glucose strips from anywhere else now and the price is so competitive. Why pay more from a regular chemist and have to collect them when they can be delivered discreetly? Delivery is so quick and well packaged with other items I buy. I would certainly recommend ChemistDirect to anyone whatever their needs are.

I use this product to manage my diabetes. I find that the test results are very accurate when compared to the annual blood test taken by my doctor.
