Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is for the treatment of dry, scaly scalp conditions such as seborrhoeic eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and cradle cap in children. Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo may also be used to remove previous scalp applications.

How does it work?

This shampoo contains a combination of coal tar, salicylic acid and coconut oil.

Coal tar is mildly antiseptic that relieves itching and helps to reduce the excessive hardening, thickening and scaling of the skin.
Salicylic acid helps to reduce further shedding of skin cells from the affected area.
Coconut oil is added to the preparation to soften and lubricate the skin.

What is it used for?

Dandruff
Inflammation of the scalp due to excessive oil secretion (seborrhoeic dermatitis)
Psoriasis of the scalp
Seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp of the newborn (cradle cap)
To remove previous scalp applications

Cant reccomend enough, got rid of itch after first use. Just after using it for the second time yesterday and the coal tar has done its job to perfection. Never thought id be on here writing a review but u must try Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo if u have psoriasis. Cells have stopped reproducing so quickly and scalp is just about back to normal already. I duno what the big fuss with about the smell either, not strong at all.. Try this if u have psoriasis, great product.

Fantastic shampoo, I have been suffering fromeczema for over two years and have been tryingnumerous shampoos with no joy, I have seena Dermatologist privately too. Capasal is greatwithin ten days my scalp is almost clear. I shall always use this fantastic shampoo..
