In recent months we have all witnessed the effects of economic rises in one way or another VAT going up, inflation and now the prospect of increased fuel charges, all of which have left some under immense financial pressures. As a pillar of business within our community, we know that there is a real need to support and give something back to the people feeling the real force of cutbacks. So this month Chemist Direct selected a local animal charity to donate and deliver urgently needed supplies to. 

Chemist Direct are extremely proud to help support the Midlands based charity - Friends of the Animals.

The aim of the Charity is, quite simply, to help as many animals as possible with the limited resources available to them. They deal with hundreds of requests every week from the public as well as supporting a number of animal sanctuaries across the country. With celebrity supporters such as Jonathan Ross O.B.E and Rick Wakeman, Chemist Direct hopes that the supplies donated will help keep some of the continuous costs down for the charity as well as raise further awareness for the charity and their work.
