Veet FAQs

The pamphlet provided in each box says that the product should be tested before each use. Why?

Our skin is a truly complex and magnificent organ that changes over time. It is subject to temperature changes, weather changes, and hormonal changes. Since it's always changing it is advisable that you test hair removal products like creams and waxing strips each time you use them so that you can avoid allergic reactions to ingredients used in the products.

What should I do if I have sensitive skin?

If you try out the product on your skin and do not have any adverse reactions, you can continue to use the product on the rest of your body. However, if you do have a reaction to normal Veet products, you should use products like Veet Sensitive Skin Hair Removal and Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips Gentle Formula for Sensitive Skin.

How long after bathing should I wait before using a depilatory product?

It's best to wait for 72 hours before using Veet cream if you previously shaved. You should also wait for 72 hours before using Veet cream again.

How long do Veet creams and wax strips stay good?

Veet creams and wax strips can stay for up to 3 years. To be on the safe side, always check the quality of the product before using if it is older than a year.

Why should I get professional help for waxing underarms and bikini area?

The bikini area and underarms has much more sensitive skin than the legs and arms. Getting help from some who has had experience waxing in these areas can make the process more effective and less painful.
