DIY Pamper Night
In this article we’ll look at some ways to create a spa-like experience for yourself at home.
The Ultimate Solo Pamper Night
If you don’t have any plans for Valentine’s day, why not turn off your phone and have a solo pamper night at home? In our article below we’ll look at a sample pamper plan to get you started. Feel free to switch in your favourite routines.
The prep
Now call me extra, but I love the feeling of putting on fresh pyjamas and sleeping on fresh sheets after a proper pamper. Why not go the extra mile?
Similarly, if you’ve spent time getting relaxed, you don’t want to turn around to a sink full of washing up and ruin the atmosphere.
Finish your to do list for the day, switch your phone off, and prepare your sanctuary.
Set the mood
Switch off your overhead lights in favour of lamps and candles. If you have a favourite scented candle, light this too.
You could also try burning incense. You can purchase incense that is meant to invoke certain moods, like calm and relaxed. Incense fragrances that promote calm include Frangipani, Lavender, Lemon Grass, White Musk, Opium, Pachouli, Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Ylang Ylang.
Another great way to create a calming atmosphere is with music. Many of the popular music streaming services have playlists of different genres of calming music to choose from.
Bubble bath
The tried and true relaxation classic, a bubble bath. Why not splash out on a luxury bubble bath to get lost in for a while?

If you prefer a shower to a bath, take the time to make this special too. Use your favourite scrub and double lather your hair.
Face pack
While relaxing in the bath, or snuggled in your towel, pop on a face pack. It’s the perfect time to pick a face mask that targes your main skin concern – like oiliness, dryness, or clogged pores.

Moisturise your skin
After relaxing in the bath, your skin can be left dry due to the warm water. Replenish any lost moisture and avoid skin tightness by immediately applying a rich moisturiser.
