Sando-K Effervescent Tablets are round, white, effervescent tablets. Each tablet contains 600 mg potassium chloride PhEur, 400 mg potassium bicarbonate USP and 800 mg anhydrous citric acid.

The usual dose in adults and children is between 2 and 4 tablets per day. You should dissolve the tablets in a 1/3 to a 1/2 of a tumblerful of water. You should then drink the solution immediately.
If you prefer, you can take your medicine at mealtimes.

Whilst you are taking SANDO-K effervescent tablets your doctor will probably do some blood tests to check the potassium concentration in your blood. He may also want to occasionally monitor your heart and possibly your blood pressure.
If you are unsure about how much medicine to take, when to take it or how long you should take it for, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice. Do not stop taking your medicine, unless your doctor tells you to, no matter how well you feel.
