Norgeston is a contraceptive measure which are commonly referred to as ‘the pill’.
Norgeston is a progestogen-only pill (POP) which contains a hormone called levonorgestrel which works to prevent an egg being released from your ovaries. Norgeston also makes the mucus in your cervix thicker, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg. In some women it also stops the ovary releasing an egg each month during their ovulation cycle.
Cerazette® is a 35 day pill. This means you take one each day for 35 days without a break before starting a new strip.

Each box of Norgeston contains one memo strip of 35 white tablets.
Each tablet contains:
30mg of the progestogen levonorgestrel.
Norgeston also contains the inactive ingredients: lactose, maize starch, povidone, polyethylene glycol 6000, calcium carbonate (E170), talc, magnesium stearate (E 572), sucrose, montan glycol wax.
