Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream FAQs
Available without prescription, Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream directly tackles the effects of flare-up, helping to relive the discomfort of itchy, red, dry skin.
After as little as 3 days you can feel a difference in the condition of your skin. Within 5 days your flate-up can be gone.
How does Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream work?
When your skin becomes irritated, chemicals in the skin cells are released which cause the blood vessels to widen and make the skin red and itchy. Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream stops the release of these chemicals, actively soothing and treating the inflammation, and can help to break the itch-scratch cycle in just 3 days.
The active ingredient is clobetasone butyrate, which doctors and specialists have prescribed for over 25 years.
Using Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream
Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream should be used on patches of itchy, red, dry skin caused by eczema or dermatitis. The cream is only for adults and children over 12 years old. As a guide, for a patch of skin flare-up the size of the palm of your hand, you need to use enough cream to cover half a fingertip. The cream should be applied twice a day and should not be used for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. If the condition does not improve in the first 7 days or becomes worse, stop using the cream and consult your doctor.
Why might Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream not clear my skin condition?
Infection of your skin. Your skin is prone to infection during a flare-up, and may become yellow and crusted. If this occurs, you should consult your doctor.
Still be in contact with one of your trigger factors. If this is the case, it will be difficult for the cream to clear your skin flare-up.
It is not eczema/dermatitis skin flare-up. If you have not been diagnosed with eczema by a doctor, or are in any doubt about what you are suffering from, please consult your doctor.
Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream should not be applied to the face, groin, genitals or between the toes. It should also not be used if you suffer from any of the following: known hypersensitivity, Acne vulgaris, broken skin or skin lesions caused by infection with viruses (e.g. herpes simplex, chicken pox), fungi (e.g. candidiasis, tinea) or bacteria (e.g. impetigo). For more advice consult your pharmacist or doctor.
