About Cialis:

All around the world, men with erectile dysfunction (ED) have taken 36-hour Cialis as needed. Today men can be ready with another option, Cialis for daily use—a clinically proven low dose tablet that is taken every day.

Cialis offers you options. You want the freedom and flexibility to choose when the moment is right for sexual activity. And when the moment is right, you want to know that your ED (erectile dysfunction) medicine can work for you. That's why Cialis offers you choices—two different dosing options to meet your individual needs and lifestyle.

Life happens. You can try your best to plan ahead for the right moment. But life still happens. There are interruptions, surprises, unexpected events. It's good to know that you can take 36-hour Cialis at dinner and be ready for the right moment later that evening, the next morning, or the next night. The choice is yours.

Cialis works only with sexual stimulation You won't get an erection just by taking 36-hour Cialis, and you won't have an erection that lasts for 36 hours. Sexual stimulation is needed to get an erection. And once sexual activity is over, blood flow to the penis decreases, and your erection will go away.

How Cialis Helps:

36-Hour cialis can help whether a moment turns playful or gets interrupted, you can always be ready with 36-hour Cialis.

36-hour Cialis works fast and lasts long
Having an ED (erectile dysfunction) tablet that goes to work fast may be just what you and your partner want, sometimes. But you also want to know that your ED medicine will still be working if the right moment happens later.

In some men, 36-hour Cialis works in as little as 30 minutes and can also work for up to 36 hours.*

  • Ability to maintain erections for successful sexual intercourse

  • Satisfaction with the hardness of erections

  • Confidence in the ability to achieve and maintain erections

  • Cialis is clinically proven to improve ED in most men

Cialis can help:

  • Men with mild, moderate, and even severe ED

  • Men with ED who have other medical conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension**

For most men, Cialis is an ED treatment that works. But Cialis is not for everyone. Talk with your doctor to find out if Cialis is right for you.

*Individual results may vary. In clinical trials, when taken as needed, 36-hour Cialis was shown to improve, up to 36 hours after dosing, the ability of men with ED to have a single, successful intercourse attempt. 36-hour Cialis has not been studied for multiple attempts per dose.

**Cialis is not for everyone. Ask your doctor if you're healthy enough for sexual activity. Tell your doctor about your medical conditions and all medications to avoid potential drug interactions.

Cialis Is Effective:

For most men with ED, Cialis can improve erections — no matter how severe a man's symptoms are.

You won't get an erection just by taking Cialis. Sexual stimulation is needed for Cialis to work. Taken before sexual activity, Cialis helps to increase blood flow to the penis when a man is sexually aroused. And when sexual activity ends, your erection will go away.

Cialis is convenient to take:

With either Cialis option, you don't have to plan around meals because the absorption of Cialis is not affected by food. That means you can eat and drink what you want. But do not drink alcohol in excess (to a level of intoxication) when taking Cialis. Too much alcohol can increase your chances of:

  • Headache

  • Dizziness

  • A drop in blood pressure

  • Increased heart rate

What to Expect With Cialis:

Cialis doesn't change who you are or how you are with your partner. What it can do is make it possible for you to be ready when the moment is right.

For men with ED (erectile dysfunction), Cialis can help by:

  • Increasing blood flow to the penis when sexually stimulated to help achieve and keep an erection

  • Improving erection hardness

  • Cialis works only with sexual stimulation.

  • Cialis makes it possible for erections to occur. It does not create an erection. If you are not sexually stimulated, Cialis will have no effect.

What actually happens:

When a man is sexually stimulated, his body's normal response is to increase blood flow to his penis. This results in an erection. Cialis helps increase blood flow to the penis and may help men with ED get and keep an erection satisfactory for sexual activity. Once a man has completed sexual activity, blood flow to his penis decreases, and the erection goes away.

Understanding more about Cialis:

Keep in mind that Cialis:

  • Is not a cure for ED

  • Requires sexual stimulation for an erection to occur

  • Can be taken without regard to food, so you can eat like you normally do

  • Does not increase sexual desire, thoughts, or behaviour

  • Has been proven to work in most men, including men with health conditions such as diabetes, and including those with mild, moderate, and even severe ED

  • Allows you to choose when the moment is right

It helps to know what to expect and not expect with Cialis. When taken the right way, Cialis has been proven to be effective.

What to tell your doctor:

ED (erectile dysfunction) can be affected by other medical conditions and by medicines you take to treat them. Be sure to tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions. Also tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Cialis and other medicines may affect each other. Always check with your doctor before starting or stopping any medicines.

Finding the right dose of 36-hour Cialis

36-hour Cialis comes in different doses (20 milligrams [mg], 10 mg, and 5 mg), so it's easy for your doctor to adjust your dose. You and your doctor will determine the dose that works best for you. Cialis should not be taken more than once a day, meaning more than 1 time in a 24-hour period.

For example, if you take a tablet of 36-hour Cialis at 8:00 PM on Saturday night, you should not take another tablet before 8:00 PM on Sunday night. Take Cialis only as directed by your doctor. You may need to take Cialis on more than one occasion before you get the results you expect. Do not change your dose of Cialis without talking with your doctor. Your doctor may lower or raise your dose, depending on how your body reacts to Cialis.

When to take 36-hour Cialis

Take 36-hour Cialis before sexual activity. 36-hour Cialis goes to work fast (in as little as 30 minutes in some men) and can work up to 36 hours*, so you can take it at the time that works best for you and your partner. For example, you can take 36-hour Cialis at dinner and be ready for the right moment later that evening, the next morning, or the next night.

*Individual results may vary. In clinical trials, when taken as needed, 36-hour Cialis was shown to improve, up to 36 hours after dosing, the ability of men with ED to have a single, successful intercourse attempt. 36-hour Cialis has not been studied for multiple attempts per dose.

Important Safety Information regarding Cialis:

What Is The Most Important Information I Should Know About Cialis?

Cialis can cause your blood pressure to drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with certain other medicines. You could get dizzy, faint, or have a heart attack or stroke.

Do not take Cialis if you take any medicines called nitrates. Nitrates are commonly used to treat angina. Angina is a symptom of heart disease and can cause pain in your chest, jaw, or down your arm.

Medicines called nitrates include nitroglycerin that is found in tablets, sprays, ointments, pastes, or patches. Nitrates can also be found in other medicines such as isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate. Some recreational drugs called “poppers” also contain nitrates, such as amyl nitrite and butyl nitrite.

Ask your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you are not sure if any of your medicines are nitrates.

Tell all of your healthcare providers that you take Cialis. If you need emergency medical care for a heart problem, it will be important for your healthcare provider to know when you last took Cialis.

After taking a single tablet, some of the active ingredient of Cialis remains in your body for more than 2 days. The active ingredient can remain longer if you have problems with your kidneys or liver, or you are taking certain other medications.

Stop sexual activity and get medical help right away if you get symptoms such as chest pain, dizziness, or nausea during sex.

Sexual activity can put an extra strain on your heart, especially if your heart is already weak from a heart attack or heart disease.

Cialis is not for everyone.

Only your doctor can decide if Cialis is right for you. Before taking Cialis, ask if you're healthy enough for sexual activity and be sure to tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and all medications. Don't take Cialis if you take nitrates as the combination can cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure.

Cialis for daily use remains in your body for as long as you take it. Tell your doctor about all medications, especially if you take nitrates (often used for chest pain) or medicines for blood pressure, alpha blockers, antifungals, or HIV, so your doctor can be aware of potential drug interactions.

Don't drink alcohol in excess (to a level of intoxication) with Cialis, as this may increase your chances of getting dizzy or lowering your blood pressure. Cialis does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. The most common side effects with Cialis were headache and upset stomach. Backache and muscle ache were also reported, sometimes with delayed onset.

As with any ED tablet, in the rare event of an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help to avoid long-term injury.

In rare instances, men taking prescription ED tablets (including Cialis) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing (sometimes with ringing in the ears and dizziness). It's not possible to determine if these events are related directly to the ED tablets or to other factors. If you have a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing, stop taking any ED tablet, including Cialis and call your doctor right away.

Can Other Medicines Affect Cialis?

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Cialis and other medicines may affect each other. Always check with your healthcare provider before starting or stopping any medicines.

It is important to tell your healthcare provider if you take any of the following mediaction:

  • medicines called nitrates

  • medicines called alpha blockers. Alpha blockers are sometimes prescribed for prostate problems or high blood

  • pressure. If Cialis is taken with certain alpha blockers, your blood pressure could suddenly drop. You could get dizzy or faint

  • other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension)

  • medicines called HIV protease inhibitors, such as ritonavir

  • ketoconazole

  • itraconazole

  • erythromycin

  • other medicines or treatments for ED

What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Cialis?

The most common side effects with Cialis are:

  • headache

  • indigestion

  • back pain

  • muscle aches

  • flushing

  • stuffy or runny nose

These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Men who get back pain and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours after taking Cialis. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away within 2 days. Call your healthcare provider if you get any side effect that bothers you or one that does not go away.

Uncommon side effects include:

An erection that won’t go away (priapism). If you get an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, get medical help right away. Priapism must be treated as soon as possible or lasting damage can happen to your penis, including the inability to have erections.

Colour vision changes, such as seeing a blue tinge (shade) to objects or having difficulty telling the difference between the colours blue and green.

In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including Cialis) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to these medicines, to other factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes, or to a combination of these. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Cialis, and call a healthcare provider right away.

Sudden loss or decrease in hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears and dizziness, has been rarely reported in people taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Cialis. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to the PDE5 inhibitors, to other diseases or medications, to other factors, or to a combination of factors. If you experience these symptoms, stop taking Cialis and contact a healthcare provider right away.

These are not all the possible side effects of Cialis. For more information, ask your healthcare provider or pharmacist.

Cialis contains the active ingredient Tadalafil which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.
