Cartier design house launched Declaration in 1998 as a woody floral fragrance for men. The creator is Jean-Claude Ellena. It is described as a bold and sharp fragrance, yet warm and comfortable at the same time, designed for the mature man. Declaration scent notes consist of Artemisia with caraway, coriander and birch followed by mandarin orange, bergamot, neroli and bitter orange, followed by iris, ginger, cinnamon and pepper. These notes are then finally melting into juniper, orris root with jasmine and Guatemalan cardamom and a warm and sensual blend of leather, amber, Tahitian vetiver and oakmoss completes this unique aroma. Cartier Declaration has been recommended to be worn during the daytime.
