Brevinor is a combined contraceptive measure which are commonly referred to as â€˜the pillâ€™. They are taken to reduce the risk of pregnancy.
Brevinor is a combined contraceptive pill which you take to prevent getting pregnant. It contains a progestogen hormone called norethisterone and an oestrogen hormone called ethinylestradiol, which work together to prevent an egg being released from your ovaries.
Brevinor is a 21 day pill. This means you take one each day for 21 days, followed by 7 days when you take no pills.

You will need to take 1 tablet of Brevinor every day for 21 days.
Brevinor comes in strips of 21 pills, each marked with a different day of the week. You must take the pill at the same time every day until the strip is finished. Swallow the pill whole, with water if necessary. Do not chew it.
Take Brevinor tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unclear on how to take this medicine, please check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Please note, like all medicine, Brevinor can cause side effects â€“ although this does not apply to everyone who has taken them. Side effects are usually temporary with continued treatment or disappear when you stop tacking the medicine.

The active ingredients are norethisterone and ethinylestradiol.
Each Brevinor tablet contains 500mg of norethisterone and 35mg of ethinylestradiol.
The other ingredients are:
