Bezafibrate Tablet 200mg works by reducing the amount of certain lipids in the blood and is therefore used in the treatment of hyperlipidaemia where lipid levels in the blood are too high. Lipids are easily stored in the body and act as a source of energy, however if your levels are too high then your risk of heart attacks and stroke are severely increased. Bezafibrate reduces these lipids in order to decrease your risk of related heart conditions and complications.
