Pharma Nord Bio-Quinone Q10 Gold 100mg Coenzyme Q10 has been suggested as an essential cofactor of enzymes involved in the energy process. Coenzyme Q10 is stored in mitochondria, structures found within cells responsible for the generation of energy (in the form of a molecule called ATP). Tissues with a high-energy requirement (heart, liver, skeletal muscles) contain higher numbers of mitochondria within their cells.
Coenzyme Q10 is also important within the body as a major fat-soluble antioxidant, protecting cell membranes from the damaging effects of free radicals, in a complementary manner to vitamin E. Coenzyme Q10 may promote healthy cardiovascular function, and healthy immune function (cells involved in immune response have a high energy dependence).
Are there adverse effects from taking Coenzyme Q10?
Coenzyme Q10 is generally well tolerated, with no serious adverse effects reported in long term use. Very rarely, individuals may experience gastrointestinal disturbance. There are no known toxic effects, and coenzyme Q10 cannot be overdosed. Coenzyme Q10 is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women, in whom the effects of coenzyme Q10 have not been extensively studied. No significant interference of coenzyme Q10 with other drugs has been reported

coenzyme Q10 in a highly absorbable form, using a patented soybean oil based delivery system. Pharma-Nord Bio-Quinone is manufactured under Danish pharmaceutical control, and is available in capsules containing 10mg, 30mg, 100mg and 200mg of coenzyme Q10 respectively. The intake of Bio-Quinone Q10 recommended by Pharma-Nord is 30 to 200mg/day
