Description

Mepore Self-Adhesive Dressing (Includes: 40 Dressings- 11x15cm) is an air permeable, self-adhesive dressing ideal for low to moderately exuding wounds. They can be used on surgical wounds, minor burns, cuts, and abrasions. Its skin-friendly, water-based, solvent-free polyacrylate adhesive provides a gentle and secure fixation.

How Mepore works

The porous structure of the nonwoven fabric ensures air and water vapour permeability. The fabric is flexible, conforms well to body contours, and allows body movements when in place. The fabric is non-absorbent and provides a barrier for blood and fluid strike-through. The polyacrylate adhesive has been designed to be gentle to the skin and at the same time provide secure fixation. The wound pad can absorb moderate amounts of wound fluids and the low-adherent wound contact layer reduces the risk of adherence to the wound.

The easy-to-remove protection paper permits sterile application, as well as simplifies dressing application.

Areas of use

Mepore can be used in a wide variety of wounds which have low to moderate exudate levels. These include surgical wounds, minor burns, cuts, and abrasions.

For orders under £40 in value we charge £3.49 for UK delivery. This is the total cost of delivery and packaging, regardless of how many items you order. We use a combination of couriers and services depending on location, contents and the weight of your order, this is due to the dangerous goods act introduced in January 2013 by the Civil Aviation Authority. We know service is important to you so have chosen our partners carefully and include both signed for and standard deliveries from Parcel Force, Hermes and Royal Mail, details will be included in the despatch conformation you receive. The vast majority of orders (over 98%) are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day (Mon-Sat including Bank Holidays). A signature may be required on receipt for heavy orders. For orders that weigh 25kgs or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.
