MediGrey Hair Formula is a revolutionary and ground-breaking new fruit supplement that contains the innovative advanced formulation Resveratrol, a red grape skin extract which has the unique enzyme that hair experts are developing to help maintain your natural hair colour and to help prevent hair greying, prevent hair greying. Though some people may be ready to embrace their age and greying hair, for others, the thought or going grey is too much to bear, which is why MediGrey has been developed. This innovative 100% natural supplement may actually help you to retain your natural hair colour for longer, thus slowing down the appearance of grey hair.

GREY hair may become a thing of the past, as scientists say they have found a way to prevent it with a pill. The Australian.com, October 2011.

How does MediGrey work? The Science behind the Secret...

Researchers have found that the pigment cells which give hair its colour often survive long after people turn grey, but no longer function properly it should be possible to 'reawaken' these cells, known as melanocytes. Look after your hair, even when younger, maintain and supplement the nutrients your hair needs with MediGrey. This should ensure your hair keeps its natural colour and health, helping you to stay looking Younger longer.

MediGrey targets the hair follicles in order to boost them with life-extension benefits. The Tyrosinase helps your hair to retain its natural colour, while the polyphenol Red Grape skin extract helps to maintain the colour by slowing down the hairs ageing process, through stabilising the damage caused to hair by free-radicals.

Polyphenols are antioxidants that work to prevent cellular damage within the body. Polyphenols are not essential for human nutrition but sufficient evidence is being gathered to support the notion that they play a significant role in attaining optimal health and even preventing disease.

It is polyphenols that give fruit and veg their colour, flavour, and even scent. Those that are brightly coloured, like grapes, are significantly high in these polyphenols.

Polyphenols within humans act as antioxidants, thereby helping to remove free radicals from the body. Free radicals damage cells, causing them to age (otherwise known as oxidative stress). It is said that Polyphenols slow the rate of oxidative stress as they stabilise free radical molecules. Resveratrol, a polyphenol found in grape skins and red wine, is often taken in supplemental form for its supposed life-extension benefits.

What causes grey hair?

Grey hairs tend to appear in your late twenties and thirties when human hair succumbs to a process known as oxidative stress.

This means that as the hair ages it accumulates free radical damage over time and hair pigment cells die due to a lack of a protective enzyme called tyrosinase-related protein 2 (TRP-2).

Tyrosinase, in humans, is important because it helps create melanin, which allows for tanning to occur. A lack of tyrosinase in humans can leads to albinism. Therefore, in humans, the browning effect that tyrosinase helps to cause is (in your hairs case) a good thing! Maintain and keep your natural hair colour.

Is it right for me

The main ingredient of MediGrey is Red Grape skin extract, a polyphenol. Polyphenols can be found in most fruit and vegetables, so this formulation should have no undesirable effects. MediGrey is made up of 100% natural ingredients. If you want to retain and maintain your own natural hair colour, for longer, then MediGrey is for you. Plus you do not want to use those inconvenient and often unnatural hair dyes.

In The Press

Could a drug banish grey hair for good.Daily Mail
Could a drug banish grey hair for good.

Some, including Hollywood heartthrob Richard Gere, appear to be quite content about it. But millions of others would rather dye than admit they are going grey. For those who spend a fortune on hair colouring, however, help could one day be at hand.

Scientists have made a breakthrough which could lead to drug treatments that permanently restore grey hair to its original shade. Researchers have found that the pigment cells which give hair its colour often survive long after people turn grey, but no longer function properly.

Researchers, says it should be possible to 'reawaken' these cells, known as melanocytes, stimulating the hair into returning to its natural colour.

The team believes it has also identified two genes which influence whether a person's hair will lose its colour and at what stage of life, which they hope will provide targets for drugs designed to revive the dormant cells.

Hair typically darkens from the early years of life into adulthood before starting to fade as melanocytes, which are found in every follicle from which hair grows, gradually start to switch off and die.

Britons now spend around 4billion a year on hair products ranging from shampoos and gels to dyes - equal to 67 for every person. The apparent breakthrough follows a study of 13,000 French volunteers aged between 35 and 60, who have been tracked for eight years, during which time many of them turned grey or lost their hair.

Experts say the findings suggest that there is also a genetic element involved in balding and they hope that further research will create a better understanding of hair loss which could also lead to treatments for baldness.
Once-a-day pill means you will never have to go greyDaily Mail
Once-a-day pill means you will never have to go grey

The likes of George Clooney, Phillip Schofield and Helen Mirren make going grey look distinguished, if not downright glamorous.
But whether its a sprinkling of salt-and-pepper in your 30s, or a full head of platinum in your 40s or 50s, most of us are not quite ready to embrace the silver fox look too early in life.

Now scientists suggest that holding back the process could soon be as easy as popping a vitamin pill.

They are working on a medication which, when taken daily, could let you hold on to your own naturally-coloured locks as long as possible.

Can you really pop a pill to stay young? It sounds too good to be true, but as three different anti-aging supplements hit the market...

The global market for hair colouring is worth an estimated 8billion and the company the worlds largest in cosmetics and hair care hopes to become the first to come up with the lucrative anti-grey formula.

Based on a secret fruit extract, the pill would be inexpensive and designed to be used in the same way as a daily dietary supplement.

In Britain, sales of home hair colouring kits have risen by a third in the past three years. According to market research firm Mintel, more than two-thirds of women colour their hair.

Sorry George, it's not for you: Scientists say they don't believe their anti-grey pill will work on the likes of Mr Clooney because his hair has already begun the greying process

Grey hairs usually begin to appear after the age of 30, when human hair cells begin to succumb to a process called oxidative stress, which makes them more susceptible to toxins.

The pill would work by offering protection against this process.

Hair pigment cells die with age due to the lack of a protective enzyme called tyrosinase-related protein 2 (TRP-2), the researchers explained..
Safety trials are under way, but the products mechanism will not be unveiled until the next International Investigative Dermatology meeting in 18 months.

Because going grey can take decades, it could be many years before it is clear how effective the product is.

Des Tobin, professor of cell biology at the University of Bradfords Centre for Skin Science, and a leading hair expert, said: With people living longer and working longer, they are in the grey zone for longer, and the demand for something like this is huge.
