The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years relevant experience in industry, ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, strong communication skills, ability to be assertive when required, energetic and proactive. Experience of SAP, Oracle, Navision, Sage or other financial package is essential.

The position will incorporate the following areas:
• The production and upkeep of the Purchase, Sales and Nominal ledgers
• VAT returns
• Responsibility for implementing and running the company’s accounts system
• Control and reconciliation of the company’s turnover on a daily basis
• Processing the company’s computerised payroll system
• All month end reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts
• Production of monthly management accounts
