Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant - This skincare classic relieves, restores, calms and helps repair cracked, dry skin. It also soothes irritations, chapping, peeling and flaking associated with sunburn or minor burns. It even removes traces of sunburn, windburn, scrapes, abrasions and cracked lips. It is sensitive skin tested and can be used even on children.

The Legend
Created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective is a combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E. The apricot colored balm was so beneficial to her clients, Miss Arden used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses' legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance - a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and "eight hours later" the skin was all better.

This product is just phenomenal . Its a pretty standard,basic and kinda dated formulation since all it contains is vaseline,salicylic acid and a tiny amount of vitamin E. So its pretty much just vaseline actually the 56% of this product is vaseline so if you have oily skin i think its time for you to stop reading this review lol. just to get thinks str8 because im so SICK of hearing ignorant people talking nonsense vaseline aka petrolatum and mineral oil are both considered to be the safest and the best way to moisturize your skin "Topical application of petrolatum and mineral oil can help the skin’s outer layer recover from damage, reduce inflammation, and generally heal the skin (Source: Acta Dermato-Venereologica, November–December 2000, pages 412–415).Also "Cosmetics-grade mineral oil and petrolatum are considered the safest, most nonirritating moisturizing ingredients ever found (Sources: Cosmetics.

I love Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant!!! I can use it at night and it doesn't give me puffy eyes - my skin is great since I have been using this. Good as aftersun too.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is a miracle beauty product. Although described as a cream it is really more like vaseline, so does not absorb quickly,which can be a surprise when purchased. Use in the evenings after taking off make-up, or if you are at home during the day. I suffer from dry eyelids which is cured by 8 hr. Also great for nails and hands, what else can I say....fantastic..
