About Daktacort

Daktacort
Daktacort is a white cream or ointment containing the active ingredients miconazole nitrate and hydrocortisone.
 
Daktacort contains two types of medicines that belong to the groups of medicines called "topical steroids" and "antifungals".
 
Daktacort is used for the treatment of inflamed conditions of the skin such as eczema and dermatitis, which may be caused by infection with certain fungi and bacteria.
 
Daktacort works by destroying the fungi and some bacteria that cause skin infections. At the same time it reduces redness and itching of the skin.
 
The effects of Daktacort start to be seen within seven days.
