CranberryMax™ Cranberry Supplement contains 100% natural ingredients making it one of the most powerful natural cranberry extracts on the market today!
Cranberries help to cleanse the digestive system, and can help women who suffer from urinary tract infections by helping to prevent bacteria from harbouring in the bladder. This renders the bacteria harmless and unable to breed in the urinary tract, supporting healthy bladder function and promoting a healthy urinary tract.
Cranberries are also rich in Vitamin C as well as contain anti-oxidant properties that help contribute to cell protection from damage caused by free radicals.
AbsorbMax™ has been clinically proven to significantly enhance the absorption rate of CranberryMax's™ nutrients into the body.
Why Take CranberryMax™
CranberryMax™ Cranberry Supplement helps promote a healthy urinary tract due to its ability to prevent bacteria harbouring in the bladder. This renders the bacteria harmless and unable to breed in the urinary tract, supporting healthy bladder function and a healthy urinary tract.

How Does CranberryMax™ Work? The Science Behind The Secret...
CranberryMax™ uses only a premium quality supplement that contains a high quality standardised extract to ensure the potency of the active principle of the cranberry fruit. The main active elements of cranberries are the antioxidant proanthocyanidins (or PACs). The distinct structure of these PAC's act as a barrier to bacteria, so cranberries may help prevent bacterial attachment to the lining of the urinary tract, thus helping to prevent urinary tract infections. This is why CranberryMax™ has such a high strength extract. It is these antioxidants which help neutralise cell-damaging 'free-radical' molecules.
Cranberry is a member of the same family as bilberry and blueberry. It is from North America and grows in bogs. The ripe fruit is used medicinally. In traditional North American herbalism, cranberry has been used to prevent kidney stones as well as to remove toxins from the blood. Cranberry has long been recommended by herbalists as well as doctors to help prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). "They have been using it for hundreds of years to relieve bladder and urinary infections, which plague at least half of all women during their reproductive lives, and which cause serious and recurrent problems in nearly a fifth of all women" Daily Mail.
Recent Studies, Cranberry may help in the prevention of urinary tract infections
Published in the British Medical Journal, 2001, a study 'Randomised trial of cranberry-lingonberry juice and Lactobacillus GG drink for the prevention of urinary tract infections in women' to determine whether recurrences of urinary tract infection can be prevented with cranberry-lingonberry juice or with Lactobacillus GG drink.
It was an open, randomised controlled 12 month follow up trial. With 150 female participants with a urinary tract infection caused by E-coli randomly allocated into three groups. One group was given 50 ml of cranberry-lingonberry juice concentrate daily for six months, the other, 100 ml of lactobacillus drink five days a week for one year and the other had no intervention.
The rate of first recurrence of urinary tract infection during the 12 month follow up differed significantly between the groups. At six months, eight women (16%) in the cranberry group, 19 (39%) in the lactobacillus group, and 18 (36%) in the control group had had at least one recurrence.
They concluded that regular drinking of cranberry juice but not lactobacillus seems to reduce the recurrence of urinary tract infection. "At the end of the treatment period, it was found that women consuming the cranberry juice had suffered about half the number of UTIs compared to untreated women. Interestingly, this protective effect appeared to remain for a further six months despite no additional treatment" Daily Mail, 2001.
Is CranberryMax™ right for me?
If as a woman you experience continual episodes of urinary tract infections, continually take over the counter medications or antibiotics to treat it, but who wishes to try and reduce the rate of occurrence without medication, then
CranberryMax™ may be ideal for you.
"Many cranberry juices may also be unsuitable for diabetics, who tend to be prone to infections such as UTI. Cranberry extracts, usually in tablet or capsule form, are an alternative" Daily Mail.
AbsorbMax™ Clinically proven to enhance the absorption rate of CranberryMax™
AbsorbMax™ has been clinically proven to significantly enhances the absorption rate of CranberryMax's™ nutrients into the body.
To believe the more you consume nutrients, the more the body will use is not always true. Some nutrients taken at a higher dose may actually counteract the benefit and will not be absorbed by the body. If the nutrients are in the right place at the right time in the digestive tract then the supplemented nutrient absorption is enhanced.
AbsorbMax™ increases the bioavailability of nutritional compounds, meaning AbsorbMax™ provides a more effective method of nutrient transportation within the body, as the nutrients are absorbed much more rapidly into the bloodstream than in other competitor supplements.
Clinical Studies....The Science behind AbsorbMax™
AbsorbMax™ contains BioPerine. The subtle, yet potent properties of BioPerine have been measured in several clinical studies. These studies measured the absorption of three distinct categories of products. The categories evaluated with and without BioPerine were fat-soluble (beta-carotene), water-soluble (vitamin B6) and a mineral (selenium, in the form of selenomethionine).
Gastrointestinal absorption of all the studied nutrients, as measured by amounts present in the blood, increased dramatically when administered with BioPerine as compared to the control group receiving the nutrient alone. Selenium levels increased by 30%, beta-carotene increased by 60%, and the vitamin B6 increase was slightly higher than beta-carotene. All studies used BioPerine in the amount of 5 mg per dose.

The Healing Secrets Of Cranberry Juice
Cystitis, also known as urinary tract infection (UTI), is thought to affect up to 60 per cent of women at some point in their lives. Infections can recur, and at least a third of women with an infection experience another within a year.
The mainstay of conventional treatment for UTIs is antibiotics. While these may help clear cystitis, there is growing concern that antibiotic use is leading to the emergence of organisms resistant to their effects. The search is on, therefore, for more natural approaches to cystitis. Over the past 20 years there has been growing interest in the role of cranberry in the prevention of UTIs.
Last month, research published in the British Medical Journal showed that women consuming a drink containing cranberry juice halved their risk of succumbing to the infection.
Cranberry - Cystitis
It is now recognised that special substances in cranberry juice known as proanthocyanidins can stop bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract, rendering them harmless. And cranberry has also been used traditionally to prevent kidney stones from forming, and as a detoxification agent.
Better still, cranberry juice is believed to be perfectly safe for both pregnant and nursing mothers, an important benefit as women are often more prone to urinary tract infections during their active sexual and reproductive years. Research suggests that a 10-ounce glass of cranberry juice cocktail (containing 27 per cent cranberry juice) is an effective daily dose.
Cranberries Combat Urinary Tract Infections - Daily Dose of Cranberries May Prevent UTIs

July 9, 2012 -- Grandma's advice may be true after all. Cranberries, long touted as a folk remedy to combat urinary tract infections, may help curb urinary tract infections (UTIs).
A new study confirms that cranberry juice and other cranberry products can help prevent UTIs in some people.
But it may take more than a glass of cranberry juice in the morning to do the trick, and cranberries may benefit some people more than others.
Each year in the U.S., UTIs cause more than 7,000,000 doctor visits and 100,000 hospitalizations, according to statistics cited in the new study, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
Urinary tract infections are typically caused by bacteria that enter the bladder or kidneys from the urethra, the tube that carries urine from your bladder. UTIs are more common in women than in men.
Symptoms of UTIs may include:
Pain or burning during urination
Frequent urination
Tenderness in the belly
Foul-smelling or cloudy urine
Fever and chills
Nausea and vomiting
Cranberries Combat UTIs
For the study, researchers evaluated the effectiveness of cranberries in preventing UTIs in 13 studies involving more than 1,600 people.
Overall, the
results showed that UTIs were 38% rarer among people who used cranberry products (juice or supplements) than those who didn't.
Cranberry products were found to be more effective in preventing UTIs in certain groups of people.
"Cranberry-containing products tend to be more effective in women with recurrent UTIs, [women], children, cranberry juice drinkers, and people using cranberry-containing products more than twice daily," write the researchers, who included Chih-Hung Wang, MD, of National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
Cranberry juice 'can protect against urine infections'
By Michelle Roberts
Health editor, BBC News online
Drinking cranberry juice to prevent urine infections does work say medical experts who have found scientific backing for this folk remedy. The review in Archives of Internal Medicine looked at 10 head-to-head trials of cranberries versus no treatment in 1,500 volunteers.
But experts warn that the amount people must consume to gain this benefit - a couple of glasses daily for months or years - may be unacceptable to some. And it doesn't work for everyone.
Cranberries contain a substance that can prevent certain bacteria from sticking on the walls of the bladder, studies show. These bacteria, called E. coli, cause over 80% of all urinary tract infections.
The researchers who carried out the latest review found cranberry juice and other products containing cranberries that are sold in pharmacies can ward off some of these E.coli infections.
But they don't necessarily work every time or for all individuals.
They tend to work best in women experiencing recurrent urine and bladder infections.
The National Taiwan University Hospital researchers who conducted the review said more work was also needed to discover the optimum dose.
Laboratory studies have shown the anti-adhesion activity of cranberry on bladder bacteria lasts for around eight hours after ingestion, which suggests a few doses a day might be ideal.
But since
cranberry juice has a high sugar content, this might not be advisable for general health.
In one of the 10 studies the researchers looked at the dose had to be reduced because many of the women participating in the trial disliked drinking three glasses of the juice every day.
Dr Ruth Jepson of the University of Stirling has been carrying out a similar review into cranberry juice. She said: "I'm not sure how many of us would want to be drinking this every day for an indeterminate amount of time. It can be costly and calorific and some people just don't like the taste of it."
Doctors advise people with urinary tract infections to drink plenty of fluid and the problem will usually get better on its own. They may recommend a course of antibiotics.
Cranberry can interact dangerously with warfarin medication, so patients on this blood-thinning drug are advised to avoid cranberry products.
Treating Cystitis & Prevention Techniques
What is cystitis?
Cystitis is an infection of the bladder that almost always follows (is secondary to) bacterial infection in the urine. It is the most common type of urinary tract infection (UTI), particularly in women.
What causes cystitis?
The bladder is a muscular bag that stores urine from the kidneys. Urine leaves the body through a tube called the urethra. Cystitis occurs when bacteria travel up the urethra, infect the urine and inflame the bladder lining. Most women will experience cystitis at least once in their lives. While it is painful and annoying, it isn't dangerous or contagious and the infection can't be passed on to your partner during sex.
Lately women, as well as men, develop the disease because of the sexually transmitted infections - chlamydia, mycoplasma, trichomonad etc.
If left untreated, the infection can 'backtrack' deeper into the urinary system and reach the kidneys.
A kidney infection is serious and needs prompt medical attention as it can cause kidney damage or even kidney failure.
What are the symptoms of cystitis?
Cystitis can be mild to severe. The symptoms include:
Frequent urge to urinate, if only to pass a few drops
Burning pain or a 'scalding' sensation on urination
Strong smelling urine
Cloudy or bloody urine
Lower abdominal pain.
How can cystitis be prevented?
In some women, one bout of cystitis allows the urinary system to build up a type of immunity and further bouts are rare. For other women, cystitis can occur quite regularly. Although not always backed up by research, some women have found the following suggestions useful:
CranberryMax™ is powerful & highly absorbent antioxidant containing 100% natural active ingredients equivalent to 15000mg of Cranberry. Cranberry is one of the newest super-fruit extracts taking the world by storm. A fruit so rich in antioxidants, it may actually help prevent cystitis if taken regularly.
Other tips:
Go to the toilet to pass urine as soon as you feel the urge, rather than holding on.
Drink plenty of water every day to flush the urinary system.
Wipe yourself from front to back (urethra to anus) after going to the toilet.
Wash your genitals before sex and encourage your partner to do the same.
Urinate after sex.
Wear cotton rather than nylon underwear.
Avoid wearing nylon pantyhose, tight pants or tight jeans.
Don't use perfumed soaps, talcum powder or any type of deodorant around the genitals.
Avoid bubble baths.
Treat vaginal infections such as thrush or Trichomoniasis promptly, since these organisms can encourage cystitis.
