Self Check Blood Glucose personal screening tests are accurate, simple and easy to use tests that can be carried out in the privacy of the home and provide a discreet way to check your health status. The tests are designed to identify potential problems before any obvious signs or symptoms appear. Self Check Blood Glucose is a sterile rapid test for determining whether blood glucose levels are within normal limits.

Self Check Blood Glucose test detects levels of blood glucose ranging between 1-55mmol/l (0-1000mg/dl). It requires only one drop of whole blood and gives fast and reliable, visible results within 2 minutes.

This test is important because Diabetes affects over 2 million people in the UK and tends to effect adults over 40 and overweight people. Diabetes is a "silent" illness and first occurs without symptoms. Left undetected and untreated can lead to kidney failure, impaired eyesight, nerve damage and cardiovascular risk. Increased glucose levels in urine indicate Diabetes is already at a late stage. Therefore early detection of high glucose levels in the blood is crucial. This simple blood test gives an early indication of whether your blood glucose level is within normal limits.

Each kit includes: 2 test strips, 2 colour charts, 2 lancets, 2 plasters, full instruction leaflet and range leaflet.
