Benylin Tickly Coughs Non-Drowsy is designed to alleviate the symptoms of a tickly cough. Containing glycerol and liquid sugar, these ingredients work to coat the back of the throat and sooth it, taking away the discomfort of this specific type of cough. With a non-drowsy formula to ensure you can continue with your day in a normal manner.
How to use Benylin Tickly Coughs Non-Drowsy:
- Adults and children over 5 years: Take two 5ml spoonfuls three or four times a day.
- Children aged 1 to 5 years old: Take one 5ml spoonful three or four times a day.
- Children under 1: not recommended.
- Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Warnings relating to Benylin Tickly Coughs Non-Drowsy:
Do not take this medicine if:
You have suffered with a bad reaction to this product, or any of the listed ingredients.
You have a persistent cough such as occurs with asthma or produces a lot of mucus.
You suffer from prostate problems (difficulty in passing water or needing to pass water often.)
You are taking any other cough or cold medicine.
You have narrow eye glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye)
You are taking drugs for depression known as MAOI’s.
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use
Each 5ml of Benylin Tickly Coughs Non-Drowsy contains:
Glycerol 0.75ml, Liquid sugar demineralised 1.93ml
Side effects relating to Benylin Tickly Coughs Non Drowsy:
This medicine can have side effects, like all medicines, although these do not effect everyone and are usually mild. If you experience any of the following, stop using the medicine and seek immediate help:
Swelling of the face, lips or tongue.
Allergic reactions including skin rashes (which may be severe and include blistering or peeling of the skin and itching)
Irregular heart rate.
Shakiness.
Fits or numbness
Difficulty passing water.
