ATERONON is the first supplement to contain bioavailable lycopene, an antioxidant found naturally in tomatoes and some other red fruit.
It has long been recognised that populations eating a tomato-rich “Mediterranean” diet, suffer from a lower incidence of heart or circulatory-related diseases. Scientific studies of the Mediterranean diet have helped to reveal that the tomato-derived antioxidant lycopene is one of the key ingredients contributing to these improved levels of health. Lycopene inhibits the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, an important component in maintaining a healthy circulatory system.
ATERONON is a “once-a-day” supplement to be taken with food on an ongoing basis. It is best taken each day in order to maintain effective levels of the antioxidant lycopene in the body.
Widespread media coverage has been given to the launch of a new pill to prevent heart disease and stroke. The Sun said the pill, called Ateronon, “could save thousands of lives”. The Daily Telegraph said that the new product contains lycopene, a natural compound found in tomatoes that is a powerful antioxidant.
