Acnecide 5% w/w Gel is a medicinal cream which treats acne and spots while helping to prevent future flare-ups. The active ingredient benzoyl peroxide works by killing almost all the bacteria responsible for causing your spots. Acnecide also helps absorb excess oil and nourishes the skin with glycerine a natural moisturiser.

Acnecide is a gel. The active ingredient is hydrous benzoyl peroxide equivalent to benzoyl peroxide 5% w/w in an aqueous, non-alcoholic gel base.It also contains the inactive ingredients docusate sodium, disodium edetate, poloxamer 182, carbomer 940, propylene glycol, acrylates copolymer, glycerol, Colloidal anhydrous silica, purified water and sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH. Benzoyl peroxide attacks the bacteria (germs) known as Propionobacterium acnes, one of the main causes of acne.Acne of the face, chest or back may be treated with this medicine.
You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
This gel should be applied directly on the acne area. Do not apply it excessively as this may cause irritation. After applying the gel for the first time, you may feel a mild burning sensation, reddening skin, or peeling. This is normal and will lessen after several days of use. Speak to your doctor if these symptoms worsen.
Avoid using this gel in direct sunlight or under sunlamps, as it increases the skin’s sensitivity to the sun.

This product is honestly amazing! Ive been using this alongside Limecycline tablets taken once a day and in two weeks my skin has had no new breakouts and its appearance is much less irritated and red looking. I use Neutrogena Body Wash and then apply the acnecide 5 gel on my chest, back and face. After using this for two weeks I can see a real difference and my skin is definitely on the road to clear skin! I hope this works for you too because this product is seriously amazing!

It really works! If you are not allergic to benzoyl peroxide and struggling with bad skin this is your product! I was on pill for years and havent even dreamt of bad skin at age 34 but gone off the pill and there it was. 3 months later my skin started to show some imperfections and then it hit me with the problems of 17-year old. I gave it few more months just to see if hormones will settle but nothing worked. Then I found this product and in a week I could see improvements and after two weeks its clear. Follow the instructions and be gentle with applying from the start not to irritate your skin too much. You might experience some dryness or redness at first but it will pass after 2-3 day. The result is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who has mature problematic skin. Not sure how it works with pubertal skin but I would definitely give it a try.

Ok so Ive had bad skin for years and then finally found pan oxyl and had clear skin for years no more worries then it got discontinued and I felt lost :( bad skin again but I tried this morning and evening And boom spots gone worth every penny phew give it a whirl you wont be dissapointed
